The Government of Dominica officially signed an agreement with Vital Developers Ltd for the construction of a 5 Star Villa Unit Eco Resort at Providence in Laudat.

The signing of the contracts took place in an official ceremony on Monday February 11th at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room in the Financial Center.

The development of the resort, named Sanctuary Rain Forest Eco Resort and Spa will be funded under the Real Estate Option of the Citizenship By Investment (CBI) Program. The Developer of the resort is Mr. Alexander Berenstain.

The resort will be constructed over a period of 36 months from date of signing and will comprise duplex units with a total of 72 rooms which will include: a restaurant and bar; yoga and meditation center; a health spa; two swimming pool; reception building, lobby and boutique; laundry building; maintenance site and; parking facilities.

Over 160 citizens will be employed during the construction phase of this project and over 65 citizens will be employed as permanent hospitality workers at the resort when the project is completed.
