BRACE FOR STORM*

TRINIDAD and Tobago was placed under Tropical Storm Watch as of yesterday evening after an area of disturbed weather southeast of the Caribbean organised itself and now shows the potential to become a cyclone. The Meteorological Service at Piarco yesterday issued a bulletin that the Government of T&T had placed this country under watch and weather conditions associated with a tropical storm could appear in the next 36 hours. The watch started at 6 p.m. yesterday. The warning also applies to Grenada and its dependencies and both territories could be facing adverse weather by tonight into tomorrow.
